Dr. D’Souza was born in New York and raised in Connecticut. He received a Bachelors of Science in Biology and History from Tufts University. Dr. D'Souza earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from the Chicago Medical School in 1997. Following his graduation from medical school, he and his new wife spent the next 5 years close to New York while he finished his orthopaedic surgery residency at the University of Medicine and Dentistry New Jersey. Dr. D'Souza then moved to Philadelphia to finish an additional year of training focusing exclusively on treating conditions of the foot and ankle.
As a board-certified orthopedic surgeon, Dr. D'Souza specializes in foot and ankle surgery. With his extensive training and background, he provides surgical and nonsurgical treatment for the entire spectrum of lower extremity conditions. His practice focuses on treating common problems such as bunions, sprains and fractures, as well as complex conditions and nerve problems related to trauma and degenerative arthritis. Dr. D'Souza works with the Midwest Orthopedic Center team to develop the best individualized care plan for each patient.
